In a bizarre collaboration that challenges traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Mission Revealed

According to the formal announcement, "An unusual meeting leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of forbidden practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The plot presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.

The adventure concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a terrifying adversary" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Transformations

The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Additional Features

Players who accomplish the quest will receive an unique katana alongside several items hidden throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
