Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice world title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a ÂŁ1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually going ahead.
